Pen not clicking but Wacom tablet registers pen pressure

I have the Intuos S CTl-400 and my pen keeps switching between working/not working at random intervals. My pen pressure is registering on my tablet but will not click. I've had issues in the past with my computer because I also use Clean My Mac, but this issue is different. It will work sometimes if I restart my computer, but the pen issue occurs at random.

  Since you mentioned you use Clean My Mac, I assume you already checked this article right?

  When the pen stops working, can you please open the Wacom Center and check which error message appears? If it is one of these, please follow the recommended steps: https://support.wacom.com/hc/en-us/articles/8811680835223-I-m-getting-an-error-message-from-the-Wacom-Driver-what-can-I-do- 

  If the issue persists, please let us know. Also, if you could provide some additional details like the Wacom driver version you are using and OS version, it would be great!
