Grip Pen Vs. Classic (Slim Pen).
I have a Cintiq 24 HD, I'm on Windows 10, drivers are up to date. A few years back I switched over to the Intuous4 "Classic (Slim) Pen" rather than the "Grip Pen". I liked the slim feel a lot more, but they stopped selling them, but also, I recently purchased Sketchbook Pro, i remember really liked drawing in the software. So I start drawing, and I can't seem to get the same variation in my line weight that I remember being able to do, so I thought maybe my stylus wasn't working as well anymore, so I ordered a new "Grip Pen" since Slim isnt' available, and still even after messing with the settings, I couldn't get the variation. Luckily I found an old "Slim" pen that was still semi functional, and here's the results. The Grip pens starts out with variation and then just stays the same, while the slim is a lot more fluid. Has anybody dealt with this, any idea why the Slim pen is no longer being sold?

Hi Ramiro Olmos,
Have you tried adjusting the pen tip settings in the Wacom Tablet Driver preferences? It may require some tweaking but perhaps you can get it to work closely to the Slim pen
The old Slim pen has been replaced in the current generation by the Pro Pen Slim - https://estore.wacom.com/en-US/wacom-pro-pen-slim-kp301e00dz.html

I've had the same issue with my Pro Pen 2 vs the KP503E Pro Pen that came with my old 13 inch HD Cintiq. Disappointingly, the Pro Pen 2, which is the newer model, can't create the thick and thin line variation in the same way that my KP503E can, even once the pressure sensitivity has been adjusted. In addition, the the Pro Pen 2 is not compatible with Flex Nibs, only Felt. I thought I was going crazy because I was working on two different machines and couldn't match the line quality, but there has clearly been some sort of update to newer model pens that is, unfortunately, sub par to previous models. Ramiro Olmos I'm sure you've resolved your problem by now but I couldn't help commenting because your post helped me realize that my issue had to do with the specific model of pen I was using, and not the style of nibs, so thank you for your service! :)
