    Hello Everyone, the reported issue of modifier keys (Shift, Command, ect..) not working with the macOS driver has been resolved with the last driver released today. Please download and install the driver. If you see any issues, please contact Wacom Support Directly.

    Please resolve this, it's driving me crazy and slowing my work down. Working in Photoshop with workarounds for alt/shift/cmd is not really possible.

    Hi, how long can it take to resolve this terrible issue? Not only the driver is stopping the keyboard shortcuts, but also is restarting itself multiple times during work. TERRIBLE, help!

    I cannot work without this working.  Software has been buggy awhile now, then after OS Mac update..pen will not work with keyboard option commands like shift or control.  Please fix this asap.....I'm all updated on Adobe and Mac OS.

    Is anything happening about this issue? It has been over a week now without any resolution...

    Wondering if I should start looking at other options and better supported pen tablets.

    I'd like to point out that the issue of the Wacom touch driver restarting/crashing at random has been a recurring issue for many months now. I have multiple tablets, supposedly compatible with Mac OS, and all have experienced the same. Others have reported similar problems that have lasted this length of time.

    Genuinely considering selling off all the hardware and switching to HUION; this is getting impossible to deal with.

    Got these error messages when I woke up.
    This is my first time using wacom, very disappointing experience, hope it's fixed soon.

    Sorry, I have to say goodbye to Wacom after 20+ years. My only solution is go for XP-Pen.

    The older drivers crash constantly - fail to load after sleep. This is very poor.

    not even that...the last driver is permamently restarting on macbook pro M1 sonoma with so you are not possible to work...you cannot work 5-7minutes until it restart by itself....and it ended always with message attached here...aplication "wacomtouchdriver" is not open anymore/wacom intuos M and S BT/

    I uninstalled the latest driver and went back to Driver 6.4.1-2. I haven't had any issues since. Just keeping an eye on these threads to see if/when a driver is released that solves the issues we all have been experiencing with the latest drivers.

    I cannot make the older version work with my OS update (Sonoma 14.0), that I am enforced to have installed. It seems I have to use the latest driver for the wacom to work at all.

    I am veeeery dependant on my Wacom - my right hand.

    But still cannot multiselect, alt-drag for copy, screendump in memory etc. Very frustrating! I've kept updating the driver frequently since the last 10 days, but have still not had success making it work.

    Hoping for an update and a post here, that now it should work with the latest driver/Sonoma 14.... help :)

    So not only do the modifier keys not work with the Wacom pen, but now every so often the Wacom drivers are doing something strange and I keep getting the message Touch Off as though the drivers have restarted... Prior to the message the pen becomes unresponsive but only for a few moments.

    This needs to be fixed as it has been going on now for nearly 2 weeks now and I am beginning to think Wacom are not bothered. If I dont hear anything in the next week I will be buying an XP-Pen

    This is driving me insane. Trying to get work done in After Effects. Shift selecting fails abut every 6 minutes.

    Having the same issue. I just recently updated my OS and my Adobe products as well. I'm on OS Sonoma 14, so I don't think going back to previous driver is an option. Hopefully the fix is coming soon!

    Me too. 6.4.3-2 works, but keeps crashing/stop starting. Please Wacom , can you at least update us where you are at?

    I'm running Sonoma 14.1 and this is now coming up. I've restarted the driver and removed and reinserted the tablet. The cursor is now moving very slowly making it impossible to work with. Are there any new suggestions for getting this sorted?

    Wacom works really dramatically. The alt/shift/cmnd keys do not work in combination with the wacom. He also disconnects continuosly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Wacom several times. The Macbook has also been started 19 times. It drives me crazy and limits my work.

    Alyson Holder I use MacBook Pro running OSX Monterey 12.5, also connected to my old Mac Pro G5 running Sierra 10.12.6. The Wacom is a few years old, Intuos pro L, and was working fine with both computers before I updated the driver. The reinstalled 6.4.3-2 also works with the old computer.

    Using Wacom since 1997. Never experienced these kinds of issues. Not only the last week, also the last months. Lagging in Lightroom, Photoshop. Installed, de-installed, re-installed. Please fix the issues, fast.

    I have upgraded to Sonoma and the older drivers have other issues with Sonoma and now the new driver, specifically for Sonoma, has this issue.

    I'm also having this issue, intermittently, on Mac Mini M2 Pro w/ Sonoma. Seems to work as expected when booting up, but after some time (sometimes 5 mins, sometimes 2 hours) the modifier keys stop working with the tablet. They work with the mouse. 

    The driver also seems to crash/restart sometimes on its own, and disconnect/reconnect to the tablet.

    Sometimes restarting the Mac works. But it's annoying. Sometimes I have to reinstall the driver to get it to work.

    The problem when the driver crashes is that I cannot access the troubleshooting "Restart Driver" in Wacom Center because it cannot sync when it opens, I see an error message.

    My Wacom is hard wired to the M1 Max. So the battery is not on trial here. It's the lousy drivers.

    Thank you for the update. I have reinstalled a previous version. Sad that Wacom can’t seem to figure this issue out. Even if we explain the issue.

    Same problem here. Working with layers in Photoshop (duplicating, show masks etc.) is impossible, only works with mouse. Also some issues with Indesign, seletc portions of copy with shift click is not always possible. Strage behaviour, restartin sometimes solves it for a few minutes.

    And I have the frequent crashing of that touch driver, too. -- This thread is unanswered for over a week now, any news?
