    • What Wacom model are you using?
    • What exactly doesn't work? 
    • Is there are an error message in the Wacom Center?

    Hi João!. Thanks for your answer.

    My Wacom is PTH-451 (small). I've been working with it for a long time and "never" had drivers troubles even with the pen or tablet itself ... how can I solve this?.

    Apple told me that is about security issues, I follow their instructions but with the last drivers that I downloaded from your website, didn't work ... for me is vital to solve this ... 

    Can you help me please?. I will appreciate!.

    Thanks for the details. If it is permissions related, I would need to know what exactly happens and what errors you are getting.

    If the error continues, please manually remove the permissions using the "-" button reboot and let the driver add them again.

    João: The link that you are sending belongs to Ventura 13, not Sonoma 14. In spite of this, I did it and it doesn't work. I also reboot and add it again. When I open "system preferences", on the bottom where the Wacom icon is, if I get inside, appears the message A SUPPORTED TABLET WAS NOT FOUND ON THE SYSTEM. If I plug my tablet on an older Mac, it works perfect. So ... I think that the link of the last version that you are sharing, you know that is not working. 

    Or please, I need a sample step by step of someone that in my situation, solve it. I need to make it work!.

    That error message means that the tablet is not being detected by the Mac which then means there is a problem with the connection itself. It has nothing to do with permissions. Please review the connection and if you are using a USB Hub or any other kind of adapter, please try connecting directly to the Mac if possible. 

    PS: The video in the link is for Mac OS 13 but the steps are the same for Mac OS 14 and you will see that the article always mentions Sonoma.

    João,

    Well, I don't think it's about "cable connection". The tablet works perfect using the same adapter or without it, in an older computer. Also I try the same adapter with external discs and it works perfect too. 

    Is about permissions from drivers downloaded from external browsers outside Apple applications. The new Sonoma system has stronger rules about security ... and it doesn't recognise the tablets with the drivers that you offer to download ...

    Apple has an application called "CONNECT MY TABLET" (Connect your "Wacom Tablet"), monthly 12,99€ ... will you pay this for me?.

    If this was connected to the permissions, you would see a different error message.

    These are the error messages you will see when something is wrong with the permissions:

    When you see the message "A SUPPORTED TABLET WAS NOT FOUND ON THE SYSTEM" this can only mean 2 things: 

    • The tablet is not properly connected and is not detected by the operating system
    • The driver currently installed does not support the device

    The PTH-451 is supported on the latest Mac OS driver so you wouldn't see this message if you have installed the latest version which only leaves the connection as the source of the issue. 

    Please review your connection again. 

    If the tablet is properly connected, it will appear in System Information under the USB devices: 

    If this is really a permission issue, then it is a permission that we are not aware and Apple should be able to tell which permission blocks USB accessories from connecting.
