Tablet Intuos Pro M Not Working with iMac Sonoma OS 14.4
Everything worked fine with my tablet Wacom Intuos Pro M on my Mac Studio with Mac Os Sonoma 14.3.1, then I installed yesterday the new Sonoma 14.4 and the wacom driver 6.4.5.-3 stopped to work (Message: the tablet driver is not responding /Wacom Center isn't able to open the app. I followed all your suggestions:
- - I unistalled the driver and installed it again, erasing eventual libraries
- - I checked permissions and accessibility in Privacy
- - I restarted the computer
- - I even installed again Sonoma 14.4
- - I tried previous versions of the driver compatible with Sonoma
Looking forward to your help,
Thanks

Hi,
That message can only mean that something is stopping the driver from running.
Please try the steps here:
https://support.wacom.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500006339902-What-does-the-error-message-The-tablet-driver-is-not-responding-mean-and-how-do-I-fix-it0 -
Thanks, I had already tried those steps. The driver is allowed to run in the background and accessibility is granted. Computer restarted. Driver unistalled and reinstalled.
There are no strange applications on the computer (Mac Studio M1), only Photoshop (Creative Cloud). Yesterday the tablet was working with Sonoma 14.3.1. then stopped after installing Sonoma 14.4. The same tablet WACOM INTUOS PRO M works fine on my Mac Book Pro M1 with Sonoma 14.3.1 (I'm not upgrading this one).
Please check for compatibility issues with the latest Mac OS release. Always the same error: the driver is not responding.

The driver works fine under Sonoma 14.4. I upgraded last week and had no issues so far.
Most likely the permission has somehow become corrupt after the upgrade. Please try the following:
- Unplug the tablet
- Remove WacomTabletDriver from Input Monitoring (under Privacy & Security settings) using the "-" button
- Remove Wacom.IO.Manager from Accessibility (under Privacy & Security settings) using the "-" button
- Reboot
- Open Accessibility (under Privacy & Security settings) and re-enable Wacom.IO.Manager
- Open Input Monitoring (under Privacy & Security settings) and re-enable WacomTabletDriver
- Plug the tablet back and test

João This was a lifesaver. So many people are only doing the toggles and reboots. Thank you so much for this information. It worked for me too. I have a Mac Studio and was worried that the tablet would never work with it. Your advice was the first that I saw that suggest this new way to do fix this issue.
Adding my comment for others that come along and are facing the same issue.

Hi Mr. João,
I did an update for the Mac system to Sonoma 14.5, and the program stopped working.
Thank you so much, as this method was very effective for me too.
Best regards,
