Power Saving mode when MacBook is closed
So why can't I closed the lid of the MacBook running OS 12 without the Cintiq 16 going into power saving mode? If I have another external display connected to the MacBook it will stay on with lid close but won't stay on if it is the only display connected and the MacBook lid is closed. I would think it should behave like any other display with connected to the MacBook....
Can anyone confirm it is possible to run the Cintiq without the lid open?

I figured it out.... The MacBook needs AC power source.

Hi Steven Valenti,
The Cintiq will go into power saving mode if there is no video signal feed from the computer.
You should be able to stop the Mac from entering sleep without the Power cable. I am not 100% what the Mac settings are for the lid but maybe this helps already.
