Pen cursor keeps moving on its own in Photoshop + issues in Lightroom Classic

Last year, when Lightroom Classic added the masking feature, I started noticing that it is very taxing on my iMac while trying to apply the mask on a masking layer. That may very well be a problem with my iMac, but now the situation has gotten worse.

Now the pen cursor moves by itself in Adobe Photoshop when I using the pen tool. As I use the Photoshop pen tool and move the cursor back and forth, it lags, then it continues moving around randomly by itself. I have updated to the latest Sequoia , I keep my Adobe products up to date and I'm running the latest Wacom driver for my PHT-660.  

Help!!!

  Hi Don Chamblee,

  From your description, I assume the cursor is only lagging with Photoshop and not when using the pen and tablet with other software.

  Same here. No show for cursor sometimes. Erratic movements. Dragging photos onto Lightroom icon lets the cursor go anywhere.
