Can't connect Wacom tablet to Windows 7 or is there something wrong?
Hello
I have not been a Wacom user for too long and am not too specialized in computers
The story is that today I tried to install the wacom driver for my win7 laptop. Even though the driver was installed, when I plugged in the USB to connect to wacom, a message appeared:
"The device driver software was not installed successfully
Please consult your device manufacturer for assistance with installing this device."
The problem is that my laptop does not recognize the driver software for this Wacom
(The wacom I use is Wacom Intuos s bt ctl-4100)
I would like a solution or answer to fix this

Hello Lee Ruy,
Welcome to the community.
That seems like a fairly common Windows 7 message.
Please note that Windows 7 is no longer directly supported by Microsoft so our options for troubleshooting might be limited.
Regardless, let's try a few things:- Unplug your Wacom Intuos from the computer
- Uninstall the Wacom driver - follow the instructions below but don't install the driver just yet.

- Reboot
- Check for Windows updates and run any pending updates and install everything if there are still updates available - reboot if needed
- Now install the Wacom driver: https://support.wacom.com/hc/en-us/articles/11402139184279-How-do-I-install-the-Wacom-Driver-on-Windows
- Reboot
- Plug the Wacom Intuos to your computer again and test
