My Wacom Intuos Tablet has suddenly stopped working
I bought this tablet about a year ago and it's been working perfectly up until today. I just tried to use my tablet, and I found that it was not working. I checked the USB connection several times, tried switching the USB port, looked for new software updates, and restarted my computer (Windows 11 software), but it is still not working. The light in the middle still lights up but the buttons and pen do not. I am out of ideas, so if anyone knows what to do please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Ava Yin,
Thank you for reaching out.It is a good sign that the LED is turning ON. Can you please try switch the USB cable as well just to be sure?
Also, when you connect the tablet, what do you see in the Wacom Center?
If you open the Device Manager, do you see a Wacom tablet entry under Human Interface Devices?0 -
Hi João,
I attempted to switch the USB cable to one that was used for charging my old phone (not one specifically meant for Wacom tablets), but the light didn't turn on and the tablet still didn't work. Let me know if I need to get a USB cable specific to the Wacom tablet.
In the Wacom Center, it says there is no device detected when it is plugged in and the light is on.
Under Human Interface Devices I see 2 items labeled USB input device (I only have the Wacom tablet plugged in), and after clicking on both it says "device is working properly."

Hi Ava Yin,
Phone charging cables sometimes don't transfer data properly. You don't need a specific cable, but try using one that is meant to connect devices to computers since these should be sure to be able to transfer data to the computer properly.
Regarding the device manager, I am sorry but it was not clear. Does it say USB input device or does it actually say Wacom Tablet?
If a tablet is properly connected, then is must be a Wacom Tablet like in the image below.0
