Wacom Center won't sync

My pen stopped working so I reinstalled driver and now when I try to open Wacom Center it won't sync - asks me to restart Center and when I do I get the same message. Using a Wacom Intuos CTL6100WL

  Thank you for reaching out to us.  Please confirm which operating system and version you are using your CTL6100WL tablet with.

  My tablet syncs after I restart and restart a few times but it is scary cuz I use it all the time for artwork
