wacom pen not working on pc

hovering mouse works, scrolling works, but when touching pen to tablet, there is no click, won't select buttons, links or draw. I'm using Windows11, just installed the latest driver update

  Can you be more clear on which Wacom tablet you are using? 

  From your description, this is more likely a problem with the pen pressure sensor. Does the pen have an eraser that you can use to test if the same thing happens?
