Click causes duplicating the file (Mac and Pro Tools)

This problem occurs specifically in Pro Tools on Mac, haven´t seen it happen elsewhere:

when clicking / selecting an audiofile in the Workspace catalog, clicking/selecting a file causes an immediate duplication of the file. This will then happen everytime I click/select a file.

I haven not seen this behaviour in other applications.

  Hi Henrik Skram, 

  Please make sure you also report this to the ProTools developers. 

  Then, please find out if there's any modifier (Command, Shift, etc.) that when used with a click, copies a file and check if that also happens with the mouse / track pad on your Mac.

  This can already tell you what could be triggering the issue. 

  Then I need more info: 

  • OS version
  • Wacom driver version
  • Wacom model

  Thanks, I will report it there too.

  I just noticed that is also happens when using a mouse.. So, I will head over to Avid with this one!

  Check the keybind that would trigger this and see if you don't have a key in your keyboard stuck. That could be the issue as well.
