Tablet physical warping issue

I have the Intuos BT S tablet 2022 that has warped slightly and rocks on the desktop when used.

It has developed a minor bulge near the top buttons which causes the rocking.

The pen now requires a hard press to register an action.

I bought a new pen but this behaves the same.

I'm concerned that the lithium battery might be defective.

Should I dispose of the tablet?

  Thanks for reaching out. 

  Sorry, just so that I get it right, both tablets are warped or both tablets require a lot of pressure to detect the pen? Is the second tablet brand new or bought used? Does the pen from the second tablet also behave the same? 

  Although unlikely, it is possible that the battery might be slowly swelling so I would advise you to stop plugging your device to your computer and dispose of it according to your regional electronic device disposal rules.
