wacom tablet not working

I have a Intuos tablet model CTH-490, used it once and would like to start using it again but the original cable is broken, tried an android cable but it only gives the tablet power while my pc is not recognizing it. I've tried it on two different pcs and I am getting the same result. I tried installing old and new drivers and still nothing. just wondering if I am having these issues due to not using the original cable. I also am running Windows 10 Home.

  Hello mai k, 

  The cable needs to power the device but also transfer the pen data. Most likely the cable you are using can only power the device so you should try a different cable. It doesn't need to be the original cable as long as it can transfer data as well.
