Cintiq 16 display on but pen does nothing

i cannot figure out why, but i cannot use my pen on the display. my display is on, but the pen does nothing (sorry to repeat the subject.) i have downloaded the driver again, restarted my computer several times. but still nothing. is this a common problem (Ive been using it for like 3 years no problems.)

  Hi Jose Trejo, 

  Thanks for reaching out. Can you tell us which Operating system you are using and what do you see when you open the Wacom Center? Is the Cintiq 16 listed there, or does it say there is no device detected?

  Im on windows 11. i plug it in and the display comes on. but the Wacom Center says nothing is connected. i tried with an old intuos BT M tablet, and THAT registers as connected in the Wacom Center.

  Hi Jose Trejo, 
  Then there is a problem with the USB connection of your Cintiq 16.

  Please make sure the USB part with securely connected to your computer and that the connector on the Cintiq side is also properly connected. If the problem persists, then it may be needed to replace the cable.
