I have the exact same issue on pro large touch from2017 . If you want the touchpad to behave correctly , you have to use a verry light pressure , pressing just a bit harder stops the cursor . I bet...

Yep , having the exact same issue over here with a pth 860 ( intuos pro large touch from 2017 )
