Older Driver Version Works for Ventura
On my old iMac. with Intuos pen tablet, I had trouble installing a wacom driver for days after I updated my OS to Monterey, even with hours of phone help. Finally the rep said, ' here, try this, we've had luck with this', and she told me to install an older driver. Viola! it worked!
And now, this week, with a new iMac and Ventura, a repeat of the same nightmare. The rep was great, but still, Kernel panics and Wacom Center going nowhere. I did not want to give up. Installed a few earlier versions, deleting all the pref files etc each time, but still, no luck.
But a half hour ago, as a last ditch effort, I went back to that earlier driver, and without a hitch, Wacom Center opened and it works on both my tablets. I do have to say that I'm not wedded to the buttons and scroll wheel, but I have no problems with any thing else, and have all of the sensitivities to play with again.
It is version 6.3.41-2. TRY IT.

Well, after having that annoying issue I decided to buy a new tablet a few months ago, and not even that solved the problem with my old Mac, so I decided to buy a new Mac (not because of Wacom but because I already needed it), and of course, the problem was solved.
Now, a few months later, I had the same problem again. Less than a year since! Wacom representatives were patient and tried to help, but at some point they gave up and just said something very similar to "You are on your own."
That sucks because I didn't pay that money for trash.0
