Wacom Intous S pen holder does not fit my pencil

Hello wacom community! I have recently bought a Intous CTL-4100, and I wanted to know how I should store my pen. I found this website from wacom:

https://101.wacom.com/userhelp/en/PenStorage.htm

And also found a notice in my manual saying that I am able to store in that small holder on the device that has the wacom logo on this.

I have the correct size pen, and it should fit.

Any suggestions to fix this?
