Add tap to click not working

Its happening on a cth-480 pen and touch, which is old and probably is just bad drivers, but a few days ago it worked perfectly fine. When using the tablet as a trackpad, moving the cursor and not having to rise the finger and tap again in order to click, just tap with another finger. this was so much easier but now this feature is gone, even though the checkbox for it is checked.

Was wondering if Im doing anything wrong or the feature is just not working

  Also, just found out. the cursor freezes when using 2 fingers to scroll, unfreezes when i drag from one side of the tablet.
