New wires to make my Cintiq 22 work with my iMac and MacBook pro

I need help with connecting my Wacom Cintiq 22 with my Macbook and I Mac. I assumed the Cintiq would come with the relevant cables as it says it's compatible but no HDMI slot in either of my devices and ideally I'd use flashpoint USB C to connect with both iMac and MacBook. I've contacted Wacom support but help has been extremely poor. No really advise or helpful working links. I'd love to know what others have done and what cables they've purchased to ensure quality isn't lost using adapters etc. if anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it! Very close to returning my Cintiq as this experience has been very negative. Thanks in advance.
