Why won't my pen synch?

I've got started working with a Cintiq 22HD now that my wife upgraded to a newer model.  I've loaded the latest drivers for the display and pen, but when I go into the Wacom Center, the pen doesn't show up.  The USB cable is plugged in and the port is definitely working on my computer.  How would I go about figuring out what the issue is?

I'm on a Mac Studio M2 Max, OS 14.2.1.
