Wacom Driver Issue

I have a Wacom Intuos Pro PTH 660 and an Intuos CTL 4100.  The Intuos Pro is school-owned, and the intuos is my personal tablet. Whenever I use the Intuos pro I experience no issues, but with the Intuos I experience lagging and other problems. I suspect it's related to the driver but I'm not sure why one works and the other doesn't.  Do I need separate drivers for each tablet? Or is something wrong with the Intuos specifically?
