cth-670 my eraser at the back stopped working after installation of the driver
Hello,
I need your help about my eraser. I have bamboo cth-670 and it's pen. I use Wacom Preferences efficiently.
The problem is,
When the first time i used the tablet and pen (not installed the driver yet, just connected with usb cable), I was able to erase with my pen's back.
Then I installed the driver from the website, and it just stopped working as an eraser. Then started to act like a brush.
At the Preferences, I have 2 different pen buttons adjustments at default. In addition, there is a spectrum called "eraser feel" but the eraser at the back is not working! I also tried to select an Eraser for pen buttons, however it did not work either.
Please help! I need the eraser at the back.

Hi dila kucukali,
The eraser, from the technical point of view, behaves the same way as then pen tip. How the eraser behaves, will then depend on the software you are using.
For example: if you are just browsing a website and use the eraser to click, it will behave exactly just like that - as a normal left click because the browser doesn't recognise it differently.
Then you have some third party apps like Photoshop that consider this like a different tip and make it work like an eraser (or a different brush) but this is set by the software.
To solve your issue:
- First check your drawing software settings and make sure it's properly set-up.
- Uninstall and reinstall the latest driver for your tablet from here: https://www.wacom.com/en-de/support/product-support/drivers
NOTE: the CTH-670 is a Legacy device that has been discontinued around 10 years ago and is no longer officially supported in the most recent operating system versions.
