2 Pens of same Model, different config?
I have 2 Pro Pens that I use with my QHD27.
I also have a Intuos Pro with a Pro Pen 2.
Is it possible to assign 2 pens with different configs or unique IDs to one tablet?
The pens have coloured rings which I would think is to differentiate between 2 pens on one device, otherwise what are they for?
If this is possible I wonder then if in my application I could assign one pen to 'pencil' and one pen to 'paintbrush' each with a different feeling tip.
I have managed to assign 2 EK Remotes and configure those separately: The were not recognised separately in the Wacom Tablet Properties until I clicked ABOUT and DIAGNOSE, both were then recognised and showed as separate entries under 'Device'. I could then double-click those entries and Rename them to my liking.
This doesn't work for 2 pens, they both just reflect the same pen data in 'Diagnose'.
Pro Pen and Pro Pen 2 are seen by the driver as separate pens and can be configured separately as expected.

Hi Stewart Lewis,
This is currently not possible. A viable way to do this would be to get a second pen but a different version like the Grip Pen (KP501) or the AirBrush (KP-400E-01) and use different settings with this pen.

Thanks I guessed as much.
I can use my Pro Pen 2 and my Pro Pen on the 27QHD and I guess it's app specific if they can be configured as different tools.
Make me wonder what use the coloured rings are for then.0
