Hi, I have just found my old CTH-661 with CD drivers. So far I have installed from the CD but it only gave me the tutorials and utility links on my 2011 IMAC. I have downloaded the new drivers from the Wacom site but I can do the tutorials and not get started, the pen works fine but what am I doing wrong any support welcome.

it may be me or I just put it back in the box?

  Hi David Rees, 

  Apologies but I am a bit confused with that the problem is. You say that the pen works fine so the only thing that is not working is the tutorials? 

  Please bear in mind that that is a very old model and some of the content from the CD has been discontinued and will no longer work properly. As long as the pen works as expected and you are able to interact with the system, that is already a good sign.

  Hi Joao, thank you for getting back to me. As it has been along time since I used the tablet I just wanted to see if I could install it and get it working.  I have downloaded the latest software from your website and was hoping to open it up and start using it. My problem is that it runs the territorial program and I can follow the instructions but once completed I was hoping to start doing my own work. Am I wrong to think like any other app when I double click it would open?  or does the Tablet just run anyway and I just use it like a tracking pad or have I got it completely wrong.  My apologies for the confusion is there a manual I could down load to see what I am not getting right. there is no doubt that your companies products have moved on and look incredible.

  Hi David Rees, 

  The tablet is meant mainly to work as a pointing device (like a mouse or a trackpad) so as long as the cursor is reacting to your pen movements and clicks, you should be able to work with any App you want. 

  It now depends on what you want to use the pen tablet for. If you want, let me know what you have in mind and I will try to recommend some applications.
