turns off

Is there a way to prevent the table from turning-off? It's turning off while my computer's on, while I'm typing and it's getting annoying having to turn it back-on too frequently.

  Can you first clarify which tablet you are using, how it is connected and which operating system is being used?

  Thanks for the details. If tablet is connected via USB, it should never power OFF, as long as the connection is stable. Please try replacing the cable and if you are using a USB adapter, try to avoid this as well. 

  As far as I know, Mac doesn't have a power management option that disables USB ports no being used either.
