New UI icon: distracting.

Hello!
I'd like to share some feedback about a visual element I find distracting and couldn’t find a way to disable.

When using the Display Toggle functionality, a black square icon with a white pen tip briefly appears on the screen. I believe it's part of the new UI. Could you please consider adding an option to disable this icon?

I can already tell which display I'm on by simply checking the cursor's position, so the icon feels unnecessary in my workflow.
