handwriting to text

I am looking for a talet. and software that can convert handwriting to editable text  like a word doc or such. any suggestions would be much appreciated. I would like to have a tablet in my lap and write on it or on a computer screen and be able to easily convert it to text,,,Thanks

  You can use any Wacom tablet, however, for note taking, I would recommend a Pen Display like the Wacom One: https://www.wacom.com/en-de/products/pen-displays/wacom-one 

  As for applications, there are several options available, but you can also use our Wacom Notes application: https://www.wacom.com/en-de/products/wacom-notes
