New pen for older Tablet

I have an intuos medium tablet and ordered a new pen. A Wacom Pen 4K. I have tried to find out how to get it to connect to my tablet and there are no instruction. I believe I will need new drivers. My tablet is up to date so how do I find the driver's for the pen or is there another way to connect it to my tablet

  Hello Boyd Bartley, 

  If the pen is compatible with your tablet, you only need to get in proximity of the tablet and it will be detected immediately. 

  Please note that the 4k pen is only compatible with the CTL-4100 and CTL-6100 models. 

  It is not compatible with older Intuos versions: CTL-480, CTH-480, CTH-680, CTL-490, CTH-490, CTH-690
