Driver 6.4.11 and 6.4.12 drag broken in Avid Media Composer
Using Intuos Pro tablets 2017/2019 (PTH-x60) and 2025 (PTK-x70) on macOS Sonoma (14)
Using the newer drivers (6.4.11 and 6.4.12 -- the versions which have dropped support for the older tablets)
Drag-and-drop behavior in Avid Media Composer specifically is intermittently bad -- can't pick things up to drag them. Rolling back to 6.4.10-3 resolves the problem but blocks upgrade to macOS 26 / Tahoe.
I haven't personally seen reports of drag problems in other apps in my environment, but have seen another thread in the Wacom community about a similar dragging problem in Photoshop.
Anybody else seeing same/similar ugliness?

Hi Ian Iversen,
This is due to how Mac OS Tahoe recognizes (or doesn't) drag clicks. For Tahoe, we have impletemented some changes so that you are able to interact with the UI in most cases, but unfortunately, this causes the side effect you are experiencing.
We are actively working on improving this as well as trying to cooperate with Apple to change this behaviour at the OS level (which would be ideal). In the mean time, you can try using driver 6.4.9 which also works with Tahoe, but you might struggle to interact with some elements of the Mac OS UI (mainly the settings) using your tablet.

Hi João,
Thanks for this information. Am I understanding you right that the changes needed to support Tahoe in 6.4.11+ are causing the problem in macOS 15 and 14? Does the Avid issue not manifest in Tahoe? If that is the case, why not just make 6.4.11+ Tahoe-only?
At a minimum, this seems like an important thing to include in Known Issues in the documentation/readme on the newer drivers.
