INtuos pro pth 860 , touch feature only works with verry light pressure

The touch feature on the intuo pro large from 2017 works great but only if I use a verry slight pressure .
As soon as I increase the pressure with my finger , the touch feature stops working .
I am using the latest wacom driver center , since I also have a wacom intuos pro 2025 and the driver is used by bith devices ( altough both are not connected at the same time ) 
In the wacom centre , there does not seem to be a possibility to adjust the touch feature pressure curve  .
Is this normal behaviour and how can I adjust the touch feature pressure curve ( if possible ) 
Just to be clear , this is about the touch feature , NOT  the pen .
