Interesting. I don't feel this with the Intuos Pro S on my desk. Could you confirm if you have the S, M or L version? Would it be possible that somehow some debris got caught under the button and cause this difference in feel?

I am experiencing the same issue with a brand new Intuos Pro M. In my case it's the button directly above the touch ring that doesn't have the same travel as the other buttons, almost as if it is half depressed already. I've considered an RMA but my gut feeling is that a different unit might have the same problems or even worse, especially if ending up in refurbishment limbo.

It feels like there are dome switches underneath the buttons and I imagine that the shallow depth of the Intuos Pro means the PCB (or flex with a plastic back plate?) they're on is attached very close to the surface, not only limiting overall travel of the buttons but also making it more critical how tightly the assembly is attached at different points. Maybe the screws nearest the touch ring are over-torqued on our tablets.
