Constantly needing to reinstall drivers for tablets to work

I have both a cintiq 16 and a Wacom one which I use interchangeably(cintiq for home, one for school) on my MacBook Air. This has worked for me up until the last few weeks. While drawing my tablet will just disconnect randomly (this happens for both tablets) I go to the wacom help center and check the drivers, reinstall them them, then the tablet works again. the problem is I have to do this amost every 5 minutes. It is extremely annoying and disruptive to my work flow. I have tried redownloading the latest drivers several times with no luck. I'm an animation student and can not continue on like this. Please any help would be very appreciated.

  same thing has happened to me for years; you may be like me and not have to reinstall the drivers; my quicker resolution is to load your saved settings.
