Intuos PS CTL-490 Not switching between Application specific settings (specifically blender)

I am sharing this to save someone hours of troubleshooting. So I had this issue where my wacom tablet would not detect blender and switch to the correct profile. I was able to fix this by downgrading to the previous driver. I tried everything from resetting the settings, restarting the driver and reinstalling the newest driver, restarting the windows service. I set the Windows ink api in blender and toggled the windows ink setting in the wacom tablet properties. It kept defaulting to the other applications settings. So for anyone out there with the same issue.... Just downgrade drivers for now and hope they fix it ....

I am currently running 6.4.9-2 no issues
