Wacom tablet becomes unresponsive after KVM switches following driver upgrade to 6.4.9-2.

I have one Wacom Intuos Medium Bluetooth Pen Tablet purchased in 2020 connected to two MacBook Pros which I switch between using a KVM.

Until recently, when I used the KVM to switch between Macs the tablet always continued working in the new desktop.

At the end of April I updated the Wacom driver on both Macs from v6.4.7-2 to v6.4.9-2. Following this, the tablet often (about 50% of the time) becomes unresponsive following a KVM switch. When I say "unresponsive" I mean the pointer doesn't move.

As a workaround, if I restart the driver then this resolves the issue and the pointer starts moving again.

Has anyone come across this issue before? Are there any known issues with driver v6.4.9-2 that might be related to KVM switching?
