Subject: DTH-2700 / Cintiq 27QHD Touch — Please restore ExpressKey support for macOS Tahoe
Hello Wacom community and support team,
I am a long-time Wacom user and owner of a Cintiq 27QHD Touch (DTH-2700). After upgrading to macOS 26 Tahoe, I ran into the well-known compatibility issue with this model.
After extensive troubleshooting — including trying drivers 6.4.8-3a, 6.4.9-2 and 6.4.10-3 — I found that the pen works with driver 6.4.9-2, but the ExpressKeys do not function on macOS Tahoe with any available driver.
I understand that the DTH-2700 has been classified as a legacy device. However, the hardware itself works perfectly. The only barrier is a driver update. The ExpressKeys are essential to my creative workflow in Photoshop — canvas rotation and tool switching in particular.
I would like to respectfully but urgently request that Wacom considers releasing an updated driver that restores ExpressKey and all other functionality for the DTH-2700 on macOS 26 Tahoe. Based on community posts, I know I am not alone in this situation.
In a time when we are all called upon to minimize our ecological footprint, I find it deeply irresponsible for a company like Wacom to force users into purchasing new hardware while their existing devices still function perfectly — leaving fully working equipment to end up as electronic waste.
I call upon Wacom to take responsibility for its environmental impact. A simple driver update would allow thousands of professional devices to remain in use for years to come, rather than contributing to the growing problem of e-waste.
I sincerely hope that other users who share this concern will support this request. The more voices we raise together, the greater the chance that Wacom will reconsider its decision.
