Subpixel visualization problem with Cintiq pro DTH271 v.1.3.0.0
Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a Cintiq 27 Pro and have noticed a peculiar glitch in the display when working with small text and fine lines while drawing in Illustrator. To put it briefly, it seems like the subpixels are not properly aligned, resulting in an annoying shadow effect in red, blue, or yellow on the screen. This issue is unique to this monitor, as I haven't experienced it on any other screen, including the Cintiq 16 Pro.
Have any of you encountered something similar?
Could my screen be damaged?
All the best,
Tano

Hello Gaetano Leonardi,
There is no issue with your display. This is due to the etched glass we use in the Cintiq Pro 27. However, you need to be very, very close to even be able to notice this.
I also use this same device every day and working from the recommended position, this is not visible at all.
Here is how my display looks from really, really close (x10 zoom at ~3cm from the display):

The reason you might not see this on the 16" is due to the higher pixel density since both displays are 4k but the pixels are more "concentrated" in the 16".
