Pen stopped working

I don't know what happened but my pen suddenly stopped working, i checked if perhaps I had to replace the point of the pen, but no. Does someone know how I can get the pen working again? I am pretty stressed because I really need it to work for deadlines. The tablet works just fine, the screen shows everything, it's just the pen won't move the curser.
