Chemical odour on Intuos Pro M grip strips and ProPen2

Hi Everyone,

Currently discussing with support re a fairly strong odour I noticed immediately on opening my new Intuos Pro M tablet.

I tracked it down to the rubber-like grip strips on the back and the rubber part of the pen... I've had this smell on a previous Intuos Pro M that I ordered from Amazon and returned assuming it had been used and picked up a fragrance or chemical... I then tried a Xencelabs tablet and that had the same smell on the grip pad on the back of their quick keys unit... returned that and thought surely if I order directly from Wacom it will be ok ... seems not!  Going to try airing it out for an extended period of time and see how things go.

Interested to hear if anyone else is experiencing this as I've been using Wacom products for my work for the past 20years (and used around 7-8 wacom tablets over that time) and while there is always the new plastic smell for a few days not had this before!

It's frustrating and concerning as currently I would not be able to use the tablet without feeling unwell.
