Cannot configure pen for Microsoft Edge
For a few days now (I think) my customized pen settings (middle click on the button, mostly) have not been working in Microsoft Edge. I have tried to remove it and add it again, without success.
When selecting the application in the driver properties, Edge shows up as "MSEdge.UserData.Profile1"; this was just "msedge" the last time I saw it, years ago. Selecting that shows the usual path to msedge.exe and adds it to the application list as "msedge" like before. It just doesn't work.
Please help.
Driver 6.4.10-3, Windows 11, and this happened both with the May and June Windows updates.

I tried to replicate this on a similar setup but I was not able too. Just to be sure, when you created the new settings for Edge, did you also change the Windows Ink toggle?
The Middle click will work for opening links in a new tab, but won't activate scrolling if Windows Ink is active.

Thank you for prompting me to test again. I found the problem; it is the 6.4.10-3 driver. With 6.4.9-2 installed, Edge appears in the list of "currently open applications" as "msedge" like it always did before, and the settings applied to it work.
I should have remembered that I updated the driver around the same time this started happening.

Sorry for the late approval. I compared both driver versions and I could not replicate the issue.
Is there maybe some additional detail I might be missing?

Well, I think it is the driver.
Step 1: Applications list in 6.4.9 before installing 6.4.10; middle click worked in Edge:
Step 2: I installed 6.4.10 and restarted. Middle click did not work in Edge.
Applications list in 6.4.10:
Step 3: I disconnected the tablet, uninstalled 6.4.10, restarted, installed 6.4.9 again, restarted, and connected the tablet during the restart while Windows was not running. Middle click works again in Edge.
Applications list in 6.4.9 after downgrade from 6.4.10:
There were different applications running each time, but I took the second and third screenshots just after logging on. The additional entries in the 6.4.10 list (for example, 6.4.10 lists the tablet properties application and 6.4.9 does not), as well as the difference in the entries for Edge, show that 6.4.10 detects applications differently from 6.4.9, and I think it is entirely possible that this also means that it misidentifies some of them.

Thanks a lot!
I will check with the driver team if they can reproduce the issue.0
