wacom intuos tablet pet bluetooth won't turn on

hi guys,

my wacom intuos bluetooth won't turn on. i've disconnected the usb cable, checked if my computer has bluetooth on, made sure its fully charged, and installed the latest wacom driver. i think it's an issue with the tablet itself becamse even if i hold it for several minutes or press the "on" button just once, it won't show the blue light for me to connect it to my computer. i believe i bought this table when it first released back in 2018 and i've never once used bluetooth

(and yes, the pen button and the other four buttons still work)
