One by Wacom CTL-672 not responding on macOS Sequoia 15.2
Hello,
Device: One by Wacom (Model: CTL-672)
Computer: Mac mini (2024, Apple M4, 16 GB RAM)
Operating System: macOS Sequoia 15.2
I am experiencing a recurring issue with my tablet:
The pen suddenly stops responding, as if the tablet freezes. It only starts working again after I reopen the Wacom Center application or restart the driver. This suggests that the issue is not related to hardware (pen or cable), but rather to a software/driver interruption.
Here are the steps I have already tried, without success:
-
Installed the latest driver.
-
Uninstalled and reinstalled the driver multiple times (also tried older driver versions).
-
Granted all necessary permissions under macOS “Accessibility” and “Input Monitoring.”
-
Checked “Full Disk Access” permissions.
-
Restarted the computer after installation.
-
Tested different USB ports and cables.
-
Disabled energy-saving/sleep options.
Despite all these actions, the issue persists: the tablet freezes during use and only recovers when I reopen the Wacom software.
This significantly disrupts my workflow, especially during professional retouching work. I kindly ask:
-
Is there a known solution for this issue?
-
Will a more stable driver update for macOS Sequoia be released soon?
-
Are there any additional temporary fixes you recommend?
Thank you for your support.
