topaz ai mask shuts down

using a wacom intuos pro 2025 new model. installed topaz mask ai but when i put the pen on the tablet mask ai shuts down. been on topaz support they said it could be the tablet and to update the drivers. all drivers are up to date un-installed and re-installed mask ai but no luck. any help will be appreciated. thanks.

  Hi philip mckay, 

  Which operating system are you using? Please note that the tablet and the driver provide only input data (cursor position, click actions, pressure, etc.).

  If an application or plug crashes, most likely it's because it's not being to processed this data correctly. If they claim that the problem is on our side, than it would be good to know exactly what part of the data is causing the program to crash. Still, I doubt this is something we can resolve from our end.

  I also found this thread back from 2021. Seems they are aware of this issue and recommend unplugging the tablet and using a regular mouse. To me this confirms that at least at this point in time, this app didn't support pen tablet input. Not sure if that has changed.
