Wacom is not always detectable after the Mac goes into sleep mode
When we connect the Mac in the same setup (via the hub with an external display), restarting the Mac makes it work again. This issue doesn’t happen every day, but it does occur about once a week.
When we connect the Wacom without the hub and external display, it is not detectable at all — even after restarting the Mac.
The light on the Wacom is on, and simply unplugging and reconnecting it doesn’t help. This issue did not occur with the driver I was using two years ago. After reinstalling macOS, I started experiencing this problem (as did my two colleagues).

Hi Ronja de Maa
The tablet not being detected after sleep is a known issue we are working ON. Normally restarting the driver from the Wacom Center should be enough to get the tablet to work after waking up from sleep mode.
As for the connection issue without the hub:
- Which Wacom device do you have?
- What is the full cable setup?
- If this is a display tablet, are you providing power from a power adapter or not?
Cheers
