Cintiq 16 showing up as 22, blocking display settings
I've been trying to access display settings for my cintiq 16 for a while now, and today i fully delved into trying to get it to work. Every time I try to access the display settings, it pops up with an error saying there's a "known communication error" and labels the error as "cintiq 22" and telling me to turn off the display and turn it back on again and rerun the program.
This never works, I have restarted my computer, a Macbook Pro, updated to the newest software, Tahoe 26.2.
Additionally, I've redownloaded the driver for specifically the 16 that I own. Yet it shows up in my Mac as a Cintiq 22 in the system settings.
Nothing I've done seems to change what my cintiq 16 shows up as, and nothing is letting me access my display settings. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I'm running out of options.

Hi Allison Mickle,
Thanks for reaching out.
That is very strange. Has your device ever been repaired before?
I have opened a support ticket for you so we can follow-up.0 -
It's been sent out before to be fixed, but I don't know if they replaced it or if they fixed the one we sent away. It was two years ago that this part happened, and i don't remember if I've had this issue since then.
