Pen pressure not working in "Mouse" mode
Hi!
My pen pressure no longer works when I set my pen mapping to "mouse" mode and only works in "pen" mode on my Intuos Pro. As I have a super ultrawide monitor (5120x1440) it is really uncomfortable to use the pen in pen mode, as I'm not a fan of limiting the screen area so that I can't use the tablet across the entire monitor, but using it on the full monitor is quite impossible. I remember pen pressure working in mouse mode before, as I've worked like that for several years, but now I can't get it to work. I'm not sure when this happened as I work with 3D and the texturing I do rarely requires pen pressure so I haven't noticed it in a while.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,
Which Operating system are you using?
Perhaps the app you are using is not supporting pen pressure data when using mouse mode? The pressure data is still sent by the tablet and driver in mouse but if the app cannot read it, then some additional configuration can be required. Please check with the developers.
Alternatively, you can set the application to use pen mode and all others to use mouse mode in the Wacom Tablet Properties.

I'm using Windows 10 and the apps I'm using is Substance Painter and Photoshop, and that's the same setup that I've been using for years (not the same versions though I guess), but it has definitely worked before.
From what I understand watching some videos Photoshop (and probably substance painter since they've been acquired by adobe) need "Use Windows Ink" to be active for pen pressure to work, and there is nu such setting in "mouse" mode, but I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it, or if anything can be done about that?0 -
Thanks.
Seems that Adobe might not be supporting Pen Pressure in Mouse mode.
For Photoshop, please see here:
