Pen registering but will not click

I just purchased the Intuos BT M and it is connecting via Bluetooth fine, the pen is registering on the tablet and cursor will follow pen, but then pen will not click. If I go to "mapping setttings" > "about" . "diagnose," the pen info is fine and it registers pressure. I am not getting any error messages, it is just that when I try to click with the pen (by pressing down on the tablet or by changing one of the pen's buttons to "click" and then using that button), nothing happens. Model is CTL-6100WL, Pen and Touch 6.4.2-4
