Hello I bought a Wacom Tablet but it won't start
i've already got the software installed, i had to instal a very specific one that runs on my OS, but is also new enough to work with my tablet. Using a Mac. i already had this device running a year ago, well a different version of the same tablet model. so i thought i would just plug this on in and it would work instantly. but it isn't working, even hours of trail and error can't get it started. "Wacom Desktop Center" says "No Device Connected." Very frustrating it is definitely connected. I don't know why they make this stuff so complicated. blue tooth says it is connected. also i can plug it in (that causes blue tooth to go out). I had a hard time logging in but was eventually able to using logging through "google". Now i'm logging in but it still says "No Device Connected" in Waco Desktop Center. i thought for sure logging in here would do the trick. and yes i've "Enabled Permissions" on every Wacom software in Privacy and Security. This thing is so hard to instal. it's been hours of this. I've also turned the software on and off multiple times. Uninstalled it multiple times. and turned my computer off multiple times.

Hi Zachary Zwiebel,
That is the correct driver for your OS and tablet. Given then error message you are getting, please review the connection one more time:
- Does the LED on the tablet light up?
- Have you tried a different cable or different USB port?
- Did you try using the Bluetooth connection?
Please refer to your product manual for more details:

Yes thank you. The LED does light up. I've tried both my usb ports. I've tried bluetooth. blootooth "connects" but the tablet still doesn't work. I haven't tried a different cable, but nothing appears to be wrong with the one it came with.

also now i am getting this message. when before i got nothing. but the thing is i am sure that the software is the right version. i thought about updating my mac to a newer OS but it takes up 42 giga bites which i think is way to much. this model is the same as the one i used to have. but now suddenly it doesn't work.

i had to include that image because there is a lot of Wacom related stuff on here.
also this
I don't know what Wacom "ink" is. it seems like a secondary thing. and i haven't done anything to this one. i have't tired uninstalling or reinstalling it

Hi Zachary Zwiebel,
Ink is a Mac feature that has been discontinued in more recent versions of Mac OS. Although it should not impact the Wacom driver from detecting the Wacom tablet, I would recommend to turn this OFF.
As for the main issue, there seems to be an issue with the connection since the driver is compatible with this model and should be able to detect it.
Please try a different cable and make sure the tablet is connected directly to your Mac (avoid using 3rd party adapters if possible).
For Bluetooth, please follow the pairing steps here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKYdwRDwVvM
