Display settings error

Im so stressed. I just got the new Mac desktop and purchased a Cintiq 16. Everything works! Except one thing. The display settings. I would like to go and change my brightness among other things, but I keep getting "Wacom Display error" I have uninstalled and reinstalled my driver countless times, messed with my cables, nothing. Please help!

  If you still get the error, please doublecheck the connections and make sure the Cintiq is correctly connected to the Mac computer.
