    Hi Cynthia Wells,

    I am bit confused about what the real issue is. 

    I think it's better that we focus on the 2 main steps: Connecting the device and installing the Wacom Driver correctly. 

    Please follow the steps here https://www.wacom.com/en-de/getting-started/wacom-cintiq-pro-27
    I specially recommend to watch the video carefully and make sure you select the right one for your operating system (Windows or Mac)
